M麻豆区(UK) examination

The M麻豆区(UK) diploma is essential for all physicians who train in a medical specialty in the UK.

The three royal colleges of physicians of the UK share a common membership examination in general medicine: the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (M麻豆区(UK)) diploma. Successful candidates who pass all three parts are eligible to apply for the award of the M麻豆区(UK) diploma.

The M麻豆区(UK) examination is divided into Part 1 and Part 2 and has three separately assessed components:

  • M麻豆区(UK) Part 1 examination
  • M麻豆区(UK) Part 2 written examination
  • M麻豆区(UK) Part 2 clinical examination (PACES).

Following completion of the M麻豆区(UK) examination, successful candidates are invited to attend an M麻豆区(UK) new members ceremony at the 麻豆区.

Election to membership

To be elected to membership, a candidate must pass all parts of the M麻豆区(UK) and complete a form of faith. Once the form of faith has been received, verified and processed satisfactorily, election can take place.

For details on how to fill in the form of faith visit the .

Presentation of the M麻豆区(UK) diploma

Candidates who have been elected to membership can obtain their M麻豆区(UK) diploma by post.

Candidates should expect to receive their diploma within 6 weeks of being elected to membership. However, timescales may vary. Please allow 3鈥6 months for delivery of the diploma to addresses outside of the UK.

M麻豆区(UK) new members admission ceremonies

Please be aware that due to higher demand than we can accommodate, there may be a significant wait (in some cases over 18 months) before you are able to book onto a ceremony. We release new dates each September for the following year and ceremonies typically reach capacity very quickly.

While we do operate waitlists, which can be accessed on the individual event webpages on the 麻豆区 website, these lists may also be closed if the demand exceeds what we can reasonably accommodate.

We are grateful for your patience and understanding.

Please note that we do not issue any M麻豆区(UK) diplomas during our ceremonies. We use prop diplomas for photographic purposes.

Delivery of the M麻豆区(UK) diploma

The 麻豆区 uses the 'signed for' service provided by Royal Mail for diplomas posted within the UK only. Diplomas sent to addresses outside the UK are not tracked and will be sent by normal post. Candidates are strongly advised to ensure that their correspondence details are correct and up to date in their M麻豆区(UK) online account as this will help to avoid any loss or delay of the item.

Diplomates who require a replacement diploma are advised to submit a request to the email address below. A 拢35 charge will apply, unless you are a fellow of any of the three royal colleges, in which case no charge will apply. A replacement diploma should be issued within 2 weeks of the fee being processed.
