You are eligible to become an associate member of the Âé¶¹Çø if you have not yet passed the MÂé¶¹Çø(UK) exam but are at one of the following career grades:
- medical student
- foundation doctor: FY1 or FY2
- in internal medical training: IMT years 1–3
- staff/trust grade post holder
- locum consultant
- honorary contract holder
- specialty and associate specialist (SAS) doctors, advanced clinical practitioners, clinical fellows, and locum consultants before passing the MÂé¶¹Çø(UK) exam
- advanced clinical practitioner: working or training in acute medicine or within medical specialties (UK only).
International physicians who have not passed the MÂé¶¹Çø(UK) exam can qualify for associate membership.
